Today In Micro-Creation

|| WORD || How are you doing, what you are doing, when you are doing it at your best? ~ David Allen

My best work, my best ideas come from making small, imperfect stuff every single day.

No shortcuts.
Nothing fancy.
Slow.
Most of it quite rough.

Fail. Get better. Make more stuff.

Artist and author, Austin Kleon, says, “pretend to be making something until you actually make something.”

BOOM! I couldn’t agree more.

Imagine something you’d like more of today. Have that thought as many times as you can in the next hour.

Now what small movement, what research, what outline, phone call, rehearsal, exercise, and form of scratching can you take that will shape your MOVIE, BOOK, BLOG, DANCE, MUSIC, CLOTHING LINE, WORKSHOP, TRAINING, and your ultimate dream/project/destiny?

Today in a micro-creation — it’s not what we do once in awhile, but what we do consistently, little bit, by bit.

Keep your “end results” general. Everything else is just a how.

HOW:
1. Do the best with what you have.
2. ENJOY your accomplishments.
3. TRUST the process.
4. Repeat.
